Lokakarya Asesmen Pembelajaran Program Studi Proteksi Tanaman

Indralaya, 2 Juni 2025 – Program Studi Proteksi Tanaman, Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya kembali menggelar kegiatan akademik yang bermakna. Kali ini, seluruh dosen di lingkungan prodi mengikuti Lokakarya Asesmen Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di Ruang Seminar Jurusan Hama Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Kegiatan bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman dan keterampilan dosen dalam merancang evaluasi pembelajaran yang selaras dengan capaian pembelajaran lulusan (CPL) ataupun Sub-CPMK dan kebutuhan mahasiswa di era pendidikan modern.

Hadir sebagai narasumber utama, Prof. Dr. Suparman, SHK. dari Lembaga Pengembangan Pembelajaran dan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (LP3MP) Universitas Sriwijaya. Dalam pemaparannya, beliau menekankan bahwa asesmen bukan hanya soal memberi nilai, tetapi bagaimana dosen mampu mengukur proses berpikir mahasiswa dan memberi umpan balik yang mendorong mereka berkembang. “Asesmen itu bagian dari pembelajaran. Kalau kita menyusunnya dengan tepat, maka mahasiswa juga akan belajar dengan cara yang lebih bermakna,” ujar Prof. Suparman dalam penjelasannya yang lugas dan inspiratif.  Kegiatan dibuka oleh Ketua Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan/Koordinator Program Studi Proteksi Tanaman, Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Herlinda, M.Si., yang menyampaikan bahwa lokakarya ini menjadi wadah penting bagi para dosen untuk saling belajar dan bertumbuh. “Kami ingin menciptakan lingkungan akademik yang reflektif. Di sini kita bukan hanya mendengar materi, tapi juga diajak berdiskusi, bertanya, bahkan saling berbagi pengalaman agar asesmen di kelas menjadi lebih adil, objektif, dan bermakna,” ujarnya. Sementara itu, Dekan Fakultas Pertanian, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Muslim, M.Agr., dalam pesannya menyampaikan dukungan penuh terhadap kegiatan yang mendorong peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Ia berharap para dosen bisa terus mengembangkan pendekatan-pendekatan evaluasi yang relevan dengan dinamika dunia pertanian dan kebutuhan mahasiswa masa kini.

Setelah sesi pemaparan materi, suasana lokakarya menjadi lebih interaktif. Para dosen berdiskusi dan berbagi pengalaman mengenai praktik asesmen yang sudah mereka lakukan di kelas. Ada yang menceritakan tantangan dalam menilai tugas proyek, ada pula yang menyampaikan ide tentang asesmen formatif yang lebih humanis. Suasana terasa akrab dan terbuka, membuat sesi tukar pikiran berlangsung hangat dan membangun. Kegiatan ini menjadi refleksi bersama bahwa evaluasi pembelajaran bukan sekadar rutinitas, melainkan bagian penting dalam menciptakan proses belajar yang efektif dan bermakna. Melalui lokakarya ini, Program Studi Proteksi Tanaman terus menunjukkan komitmennya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya dalam bidang evaluasi yang menjadi ujung tombak penilaian kompetensi mahasiswa.

Dengan semangat kolaborasi dan pembaruan, diharapkan hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat langsung diterapkan dalam proses pengajaran, sehingga dosen dan mahasiswa sama-sama tumbuh dalam suasana akademik yang sehat, reflektif, dan saling mendukung.
