Vision
Being a leading master’s degree educational institution in the development of agronomy, plant protection, and land management sciences adaptive to marginal and wetland agroecosystems.
Missions
- To offer a master’s degree education in plant sciences, which is founded on the principles of piety, self-reliance, and academic excellence. The program emphasizes academic quality, relevance to current needs, and efficient time management, with the ultimate goal of producing highly competitive alumni.
- To conduct research in the fields of agronomy, plant protection, and agricultural land management to develop and disseminate knowledge and technology for adaptive plant cultivation on marginal and wetland areas, while promoting local culture and potential, supporting regional and national development, and contributing to regional problem-solving.
- To engage in community service and empowerment activities that encourage the development of local resources in marginal and wetland agroecosystems for sustainable agriculture.
- To implement good governance practices in organizing the three main functions of higher education institutions.
- To establish productive and sustainable collaborations with a national and international reputation.
Objectives
- To produce highly competitive master’s degree graduates in plant sciences who embody the values of piety, self-reliance, and academic excellence to address various issues in agronomy, plant protection, and agricultural land management.
- To cultivate master’s degree holders in plant sciences who can develop adaptive scientific knowledge and technology and make strategic decisions to solve plant cultivation problems in marginal and wetland agroecosystems through interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary research, leading to field-tested innovations.
- To generate scientific and technological developments and service-oriented contributions to the community that contributes to solving issues in agronomy, plant protection, or agricultural land management, supporting sustainable agricultural development, and environmental preservation for regions, countries, and wider society.
- To establish good governance in the organization of education, research, community service, and collaborations.
- To expand and enhance beneficial collaborative networks with various institutions within and outside the country.
