Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI) has 10 undergraduate study programs that are accredited A and Excellence. Currently, Faculty of Agriculture of UNSRI proposes 5 study programs to participate in international accreditation by using an international accreditation agency recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, namely ASIIN (the Accreditation Agency for Study Programmes in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics (ASIIN e.V.).

ASIIN international accreditation is an Outcome Based Accreditation (OBE). OBE is a learner‐centered approach to education that focuses on what a student should be able to do in the real world upon completion of their course or program. The important thing that must be shown in the accreditation is the implementation of output-based education by showing an evaluation of the achievement of program outcomes and the commitment to facilitating the implementation of OBE. This accreditation is very important for Study Program in Faculty of Agriculture UNSRI to increase the academic quality in a global standard. Graduates are expected to have skills and be able to work well according to their field of study. The curriculum design and the learning-teaching process play an important role in the implementation of OBE.

OBE does not only emphasis knowledge acquisition, but also develop the essential skills to cope with the demanding job market. That is the reason ASIIN is chosen as the accreditation agency for the international accreditation for these five study programs.

Proudly to announce that the Leaders of UNSRI and Faculty of Agriculture UNSRI as well as the entire academic community of the Faculty of Agriculture UNSRI strongly support this international accreditation process.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the Study Program of Agribusiness, Agricultural Product Technology, Agronomy, Plant Protection and Soil Science will successfully undergo the international accreditation process smoothly and successfully.
